The Adventures of Cap’n Lookout
It twas a Thursday and the, the sky
was as clear as the Atlantic.
“Ahoy! Welcome to ye ship. You be sailing with the best
pirate of the sea. The name is Cap’n Lookout and I hope ye be ready for the
adventure ye life.” Cap’n Lookout exclaimed, “Plan on fightin’ for
ye life every step of the way! We be fightin’ for the grand loot, which of
course ye will get ye share of the treasure. ”
I hadn’t ever thought of bein’ on a real pirate ship before,
fightin’ for me life, searchin’ for the grand booty, but being with me bucko’s
all any cap’n could ever ask for. “We is almost there lads!” Cap’n
Lookout screeched as they were sailing towards their destination. “Blimey,
watch where ye be steerin’ we nearly heeled over!” yelled Cap’n Lookout.
The Captain and his crew were on the road to disaster. As the ship
sailed, the clear sky became a dark and gloomy catastrophe. The wind started
roaring, lightning started striking the waves, as the rain came pouring down.
The hull of the ship began to shake, as the port had been struck by a gigantic
wave. The noble pirates had no choice but to fight for their lives.
They decided they had to lighten the ship for it to possibly
stabilize. All the knaves started throwing all the loose items out of the ship,
from the big 50 lb barrels, to the nipperkins, and blackjacks. They needed to
keep the boat afloat. Even all of the grog was thrown out. However, it was too
late. The draft was too full and the ship had turned over, throwing Cap’n
Lookout and his buckos into the deep blue.
Thankfully, they had been close to an undiscovered island and had washed
up on the deserted beach. “Is everyone alright?” Cap’n Lookout exclaimed. He
had heard sounds of his men as he was helping others up out of the sea. “What
be the damage lads?” the captain yelled.
“There’s a hole in the starboard side Cap’n!” cried one of the
knaves.
So the crew was now shipwrecked, and had nowhere to go but
straight ahead. They had reached a large cove when one of the hands started
yelling for joy. “There’s a ship, Cap’n! Can you believe the luck!” screeched
the hand. “
“Aye it be a trick,” exclaimed the Captain. However, to their
surprise the vessel wasn’t abandoned, but struck with the bodies of dead
pirates.
“Scurvy be the culprit,” said one of the hands. The execution deck
had loot and booty everywhere on it. The bow had a cable on the front of the
ship. Doubloons everywhere. The gibbits were clean, and everything was great.
The fathom of the cove was large. It was leagues deep, so they could go
straight through. This was only visible through Cap’n Lookout’s spyglass, so
the great Cap’n Lookout and his crew sailed out of the cove, back to sea, and
had many more adventures to come.
